We are recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver / Despatcher for a well-established aerospace company in Denham. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Driver / Despatcher to join our Transport team in Denham (UB9). You will help deliver company products to customers, suppliers, and sites across the UK, keeping operations running smoothly and safely.

We offer:

  • £33,000 to £35,000 per annum, plus overtime
  • 9% non-contributory pension
  • Life assurance & healthcare plan
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Early Friday finish
  • Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 17:00, Friday 08:00 - 12:00
  • 37.5 hours per week

The Driver/Despatcher will be part of a world-leading engineering company, with supportive colleagues, excellent training, and genuine opportunities to grow. We do not offer sponsorship and you will need your own transport due to where the company is located.

What You'll Do as a Driver/Despatcher:

  • Load and unload goods, checking quantities and paperwork
  • Consolidate deliveries and collections within the warehouse
  • Transport goods to UK sites and ensure delivery records are accurate
  • Perform basic vehicle checks (oil, water, lights, etc.)
  • Keep the warehouse organised, clean, and safe

Essential requirements for the Driver/Despatcher:

  • 23 years or over (for vehicle insurance purposes)
  • Clean Class 2 Category C licence
  • Experience driving, loading, and unloading
  • Counterbalance forklift experience
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Physically fit and able to lift boxes

Desirable:

  • ADR certification (Classes 1-9)
  • Known Consignor experience
  • Experience in manufacturing/logistics
