We are hiring HGV Class 2 Drivers / Drainage Engineers to join our expanding team. This is a varied, hands-on role combining driving, specialist vehicle operation, and drainage response work. Full training is provided for candidates with the right attitude and driving experience.

What you will get:

  • £36,660 basic salary
  • Overtime paid at £21.15 per hour
  • Night shift bonus: £45 per shift
  • Call-out payments (up to £45 per callout)
  • Typical monthly earnings: £3,000 - £5,000+ with overtime

  • Working pattern: Monday to Friday: 6:00am - 4:00pm (core hours)

What you will be doing:

  • Operating specialist vehicles (jetting tankers, vacuum tankers, combination units)
  • Responding to drainage emergencies and blockages
  • Supporting flood and pollution response work
  • Completing vehicle checks and safety inspections
  • Working safely on public and private sites
  • Maintaining accurate job records

What we are looking for:

  • Valid HGV Class 2 licence + CPC
  • Professional and reliable attitude
  • Comfortable working in a varied, hands-on role
  • Able to work independently and respond to callouts
  • Desirable (not essential): Drainage, utilities or waste industry experience
  • High-pressure jetting experience
  • Streetworks or water hygiene qualifications
