We are hiring HGV Class 2 Drivers / Drainage Engineers to join our expanding team. This is a varied, hands-on role combining driving, specialist vehicle operation, and drainage response work. Full training is provided for candidates with the right attitude and driving experience.
What you will get:
- £36,660 basic salary
- Overtime paid at £21.15 per hour
- Night shift bonus: £45 per shift
- Call-out payments (up to £45 per callout)
- Typical monthly earnings: £3,000 - £5,000+ with overtime

Working pattern:
- Monday to Friday: 6:00am - 4:00pm (core hours)
- Regular overtime available (evenings, nights, weekends)

What you will be doing:
- Operating specialist vehicles (jetting tankers, vacuum tankers, combination units)
- Responding to drainage emergencies and blockages
- Supporting flood and pollution response work
- Completing vehicle checks and safety inspections
- Working safely on public and private sites
- Maintaining accurate job records
What we are looking for:
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence + CPC
- Professional and reliable attitude
- Comfortable working in a varied, hands-on role
- Able to work independently and respond to callouts
- Desirable (not essential): Drainage, utilities or waste industry experience
- High-pressure jetting experience
- Streetworks or water hygiene qualifications
