Overview

Position: Drainage Engineer / HGV Class 2 Driver Operative

Location: Scunthorpe Yaddlethorpe (STW) DN17 2BU

Line Reporting Manager: Operations Manager

Hours: 06:00am - 18:00pm

Salary: £17.15/hr (£37,563 Annually)

Job Type: Full-time

Due to increasing demands on our level of service, MTS are recruiting for a permanent 4-on 4-off shift drainage engineer/driver operative, based at our outposted depot in Scunthorpe Yaddlethorpe (STW) DN17 2BU. The shift will be worked on a rotating 4-on 4-off Day shifts.

What will the job involve for HGV Driver?

Successful candidates will be offered a 48 hour week (minimum) guaranteed contract, to help and support the Tanker, CCTV and Jetting Divisions with reactive and non-reactive work for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Operate drainage engineering and driving duties on a 4-on 4-off schedule (Day shifts) in Scunthorpe.
  • Support Tanker, CCTV and Jetting Divisions with reactive and non-reactive work.
  • Train and perform duties with necessary training provided for those without prior experience.
  • Maintain vehicle and equipment to required standards; wear PPE as provided.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Class 1 Driving Licence (or willing to train).
  • Flexible, self-motivated, professional with the ability to work independently or under supervision.
  • Commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing.
