Monday to Friday 06:00 – 16:00 – 50 hour week

Principle Duties and Accountabilities:

Drive and operate specialist CCTV underground pipe survey rig, working on private and public land in strict accordance with statutory health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Interpret survey results and prepare comprehensive condition reports to industry standards
  • Undertake basic H&S vehicle checks at the start and finish of each shift
  • Report all defects, accidents and near misses immediately to line manager
  • Ensure all jobs are correctly documented with work tickets submitted at the end of each shift
  • Maintain the driver’s log book in compliance with MOT rules and procedures
  • Ensure the condition of all issued personal protective clothing and equipment remains fit for purpose, clean and free from defects
  • Keep the vehicle and equipment washed down on a weekly basis, free from rubbish
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties as and when your vehicle is off the road or you are required to assist other field teams in exceptional circumstances
  • Attend meetings, medical and training courses as required

CCTV Operative Health and Safety Responsibilities are:

  • To understand and comply with the company health and safety policy
  • To influence and promote a positive health, safety culture within the organisation and lead by example
  • To ensure all works activities are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with legislative, company policies, procedures and the works RAMS
  • To carry out comprehensively and complete in full, all company required health and safety site documentation
  • To ensure the company health and safety documentation is read and understood on the tablets
  • Ensure VPR’s are carried out and completed in full
  • DRA’s are to be carried out for every job and updated where required
  • To report all health, safety and environmental incidents to the Line Manager within 2 hours of it happening

Qualifications / Competency:

  • Flexible with working hours (we can be very reactive at times and teams are expected to assist as much as they can)
  • Must hold a Full UK 7.5ton Drivers License
  • Standpipe Usage Competency Training
  • Must have the ability to take on responsibility of working within very controlled guidelines and environmental regulations
  • Able to deal with the public in a polite and friendly manner
  • Able to work with a minimum of supervision and to receive instructions remotely
  • Report into management when required and to complete work tickets, log books etc.
  • Work consistently to high standards of health and safety
