High earning, specialist driving role with full training. We are hiring HGV Class 2 Drivers / Drainage Engineers to join our expanding team. This is a varied, hands-on role combining driving, specialist vehicle operation, and drainage response work. Full training is provided for candidates with the right attitude and driving experience.
Overtime paid at £21.15 per hour. Night shift bonus: £45 per shift. £3,000-£5,000+ with overtime. Company pension & benefits. 20+ days holiday (increasing with service).
Working pattern Monday to Friday: 6:00am - 4:00pm (core hours). Regular overtime available (evenings, nights, weekends). Call-out rota for emergency response work.
What you will be doing:
- Operating specialist vehicles (jetting tankers, vacuum tankers, combination units).
- Responding to drainage emergencies and blockages.
- Completing vehicle checks and safety inspections.
- Working safely on public and private sites.
What we are looking for:
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence + CPC.
- Desirable (not essential): Drainage, utilities or waste industry experience.
- Streetworks or water hygiene qualifications.
