The Company: We are working with a leading Contractor whose NW Regional Construction team delivers projects for clients across the North West of England. Their turnover in the NW has grown year on year and they are capable of taking on high value projects in the commercial, industrial, care, leisure, pharmaceutical, retail, education and residential sectors. They have developed great relationships with both public and private sector clients, are very cash rich, have a great supply chain that they pay promptly and have a very experienced, knowledgeable and approachable management team.
The Role: Due to workload, they are now in a position to add a Senior Estimator to their team. You will be tasked with:
- Receiving tender enquiries and presenting them to agree to bid or not
- Completing the risk register
- Working with the rest of the pre-construction team to meet deadlines
- Sending out and vetting subcontract enquiries
- Conducting site visits
- Attending tender review meetings
- Building up the tender through to tender adjudication
- Presenting the financial elements of the tender in line with the clients' specification
- Helping with post-tender negotiations
You: You will have used software such as Bluebeam/CostX, Excel and Conquest to manage estimating tasks and reporting. You will have proven experience working in Estimating in the construction industry and good knowledge of current construction contracts and procurement processes. You will be based in or able to commute to Cheshire daily.
