Senior Quantity Surveyor

The Company: We’re working with one of the UK’s largest Property Developers who are looking to add a Maintenance Quantity Surveyor to their team. They are currently managing over 1500 properties and have over 1700 currently being built. They are looking to add 1000 more properties to their portfolio annually. The Role: You will be working within a small-knit commercial team. The role is 3 days a week in their office and 2 days a week working from home, with occasional site visits.  The role includes planned and reactive maintenance on properties across the North of England. You will manage the costs of maintenance and repair work on housing and apartments. You’ll get involved in procurement and ensure that projects are cost-effective, adhere to budgets, and comply with relevant regulations. Once repair needs have been identified and contractors have been appointed to carry out the work you’ll carry out valuations of work orders and agree payments. ring cost estimates, and managing contracts for maintenance work. You: You will be working on planned and reactive maintenance.  You will be able to commute to their office in Greater Manchester. You will have ideally worked on maintenance schemes, however they are also keen to chat with people who have worked as a quantity surveyor on building or refurbishment schemes.
