We are working with a leading South Yorkshire based specialist contractor, known for delivering projects from bulk earthworks, remediation and demolition. Dealing with local authorities and national highways, the majority of their work is repeat business based on their technical ability and the high quality of their delivery that they are renowned for.
They are seeking to recruit a Senior Engineer to lead their team of engineers across a variety of projects, combining a mix of traditional setting out, surveying and 3D Modelling.
The role:
- Manage setting out, surveying, QA and technical delivery
- Build and maintain 3D models for design, planning and machine control
- Configure and manage GPS settings on Trimble systems
- Lead and support a team of engineers
- Ensure works are delivered safely, accurately and on programme
- Act as a key technical point of contact for clients and project teams
Requirements:
- Proven experience in civil engineering (earthworks, remediation, highways or demolition)
- Strong knowledge of Trimble GPS machine control and 3D modelling software
- Confident in setting out, surveying and quality control
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience
