We’re working with a respected local contractor, known for delivering high-quality new build, refurb and maintenance projects across multiple sectors. With continued growth across the East Midlands, they’re looking to bring in a driven Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their commercial team.
You’ll take ownership of commercial delivery across a range of building and refurb schemes on a varied workload, working closely with project and site teams.
Key duties include:
- Managing cost planning, measurement and valuations
- Procuring subcontractors and materials
- Preparing cost reports, forecasts and budgets
- Ensuring projects remain commercially sound from start to finish
- Supporting contract administration and financial documentation
About You
- Experience as a QS within a main contractor or SME
- Strong understanding of cost control, procurement and contracts
- Confident communicator and effective negotiator
- Organised, analytical and commercially aware
- Able to travel to sites across the region
