We’re currently working with a growing construction contractor to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee projects across the UK. This role would suit someone who is comfortable managing multiple projects and site teams while maintaining strong client relationships and driving delivery standards. The position offers a hybrid working setup, combining home working, site visits and office-based collaboration.

The business has a strong pipeline of work across a variety of construction sectors and is looking for someone who can provide both leadership and accountability across live projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Overseeing multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to completion
  • Managing Site Managers, subcontractors and supply chain partners
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
  • Driving programme, quality and commercial performance across projects
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Chairing progress meetings and reporting on project performance
  • Resolving issues proactively and ensuring site teams have the support they need
  • Balancing client-facing responsibilities with firm operational management to keep projects moving efficiently
What You Will Need:
  • Previous experience operating as a Contracts Manager within a main contracting environment
  • Strong background managing multiple projects and site teams
  • Experience across construction, refurbishment or fit-out projects
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of programme management
  • Ability to build relationships while maintaining control of delivery and standards
  • Willingness to travel nationwide for site visits
  • SMSTS, CSCS and relevant construction qualifications preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
