We're currently working with a well-established main contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a varied portfolio of commercial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business delivering commercial, industrial, logistics, office and mixed-use developments across the North.

You'll work closely with the commercial and operational teams to ensure projects are delivered profitably from procurement through to final account.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Managing project costs from pre-construction through to final account
  • Procuring and managing subcontractor packages
  • Preparing valuations, variations and cost reports
  • Monitoring project budgets and commercial performance
  • Supporting contract administration and risk management
  • Working closely with site teams, clients and the supply chain
What You'll Need:
  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor
  • Experience delivering commercial, industrial or mixed-use construction projects
  • Good knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial processes
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Relevant construction or commercial qualification
