We're currently working with a well-established main contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a varied portfolio of commercial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business delivering commercial, industrial, logistics, office and mixed-use developments across the North.
You'll work closely with the commercial and operational teams to ensure projects are delivered profitably from procurement through to final account.
What You'll Be Doing:- Managing project costs from pre-construction through to final account
- Procuring and managing subcontractor packages
- Preparing valuations, variations and cost reports
- Monitoring project budgets and commercial performance
- Supporting contract administration and risk management
- Working closely with site teams, clients and the supply chain
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor
- Experience delivering commercial, industrial or mixed-use construction projects
- Good knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial processes
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Relevant construction or commercial qualification
