The Role: If you’re interested in working on high profile, large scale, technically complex projects you should get in touch with us to find out more about this company and role. Reporting in to their highly experienced Regional Planner you will get the chance to work on a number of projects – your initial focus will be on multi-storey residential, commercial and leisure schemes in and around Manchester. You’ll be involved in both tender and contract planning with typical duties including:
- Analyse construction methodologies looking for areas of improvement.
- Liaise with the Client and their representatives on planning matters.
- Prepare tender programmes.
- Attend client interviews and meetings where you will explain programmes and methodology.
- Prepare master programmes, updating progress and forecasting completions.
- Identify and mitigate risk whilst ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental considerations are taken into account.
- Work with the Planning team to identify and champion Best Practice.
You: To be successful in this role you will need to have worked in a Planning role for a building contractor previously on significant projects similar to those described above. You will be based in or be able to commute to their office and projects in Greater Manchester. IT literate with experience using specialist planning software.
