We are working with a leading refurbishment and fit‑out contractor that specialises in Leisure & Hospitality works. They have excellent relationships with clients, leading to repeat negotiated business. They are cash‑rich, achieve double‑digit margins, and maintain a respected supply chain. The Role

As part of planned growth, the company is adding to its Commercial team. The role is to serve as a Quantity Surveyor for fast‑track fit‑out projects. The Quantity Surveyor will oversee 2-3 projects simultaneously with combined values of around £10 million. Responsibilities are split between site visits in the North West of England office and some remote work. Projects are nationwide, requiring travel. The role is supported by an experienced Commercial Director and other Company Directors, and involves close work with operations and technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Work with estimating/bid team when requested.
  • Attend project meetings.
  • Manage subcontractor orders, payments, and management.
  • Handle valuation, variations through to final account.
  • Provide cost and value reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with the Contracts Manager and wider project team.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading the commercial elements of fit‑out and refurbishment projects.
  • Familiarity with JCT Construction Contracts.
  • Comfortable commuting to the North West of England and sites nationwide.

Compensation and Benefits
