MTrecs new career opportunity Our client is a market leader in their industry sector, they have an immediate requirement to recruit a Welder / Fabricator to work a permanent weekend shift.
After an initial training period, the selected candidate will work a permanent weekend shift including Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 7:30am to 4:45 pm.
Competitive salary of £29.48 per hour plus weekend shift allowance of £117 per week (if all 3 days are worked).
The job you'll do TIG/ MIG and SMWA manual welding.
Have proven experience in fabrication working to detailed engineering drawings.
Working to and strictly following approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPSs).
Be familiar with a wide range of materials including non-ferrous, aluminium, alloy Steel, stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium.
Be willing to increase your knowledge and train on other welding processes.
Be willing to pass on your knowledge and train others.

About You Be a time-served Welder/Fabricator with an NVQ level 3 in welding and fabrication, or equivalent.
Hold a current CSWIP 3.1 welding inspection certification (or recognised equivalent).
Have proven Experience in TIG, MIG and/or SMAW manual welding.
Have proven experience in fabrication working to detailed engineering drawings.
Be experienced in working to and strictly following approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPSs) Be familiar with a wide range of materials including non-ferrous, aluminium, alloy Steel, stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium.
Have a can-do attitude and work well with others in a team environment.
Be flexible in your approach - willing to work overtime when required to suit customer requirements.
