Our clients are specialists in their industry sector, looking to recruit a Mechanically Biased Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who has the required skillset.
The Job you'll do:
- Working permanent weekend shift, Friday/Saturday/Sunday 6am-6pm.
- Maintenance of production and site facility equipment.
- Servicing of production and site facility equipment.
- Fault finding and diagnosis.
- Continuous improvement of equipment & associated engineering project work.
- Ensure timely and effective remedial repairs are delivered to blending, production and all other site facility equipment.
- Ensure professional repair standard adherence and compliance with all H&S legislation requirements.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene to Engineering areas to ensure safety standard compliance.
- Identify and resolve any equipment or material issues in a timely manner.
- Promote, develop, and implement initiatives raised through a structured CI process.
- Identify and implement minor project initiatives to completion.
- Support the engineering team in any major site projects.
About You:
The successful candidate will be educated to Minimum ONC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. The role would suit candidates who are Mechanically biased/multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers from a FMCG/high volume manufacturing environment (ideally food or packaging). Good at problem solving with a flexible and can do attitude who is proactive, outgoing, and enjoy working as part of a close team.
