MTrec are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver for a well-established manufacturing firm based in the Spennymoor area.
The Job You’ll Do:
- Working in a fast paced stores environment
- Using FLT to relocate goods around shop floor
- Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
- Loading and moving waste from shop floor
- Manually picking items from order sheets and online orders
- Manually transporting and moving products within the dispatch area
- Wrapping completed products into packaging ready for dispatch
- Completing visual quality inspection and completing quality assurance paperwork
- Booking goods in and out using in house computer systems
- Using computer systems to update stock systems
- Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
- General housekeeping duties and following specific standard operations and being able to adhere to social distancing is required
About You:
- Hold an in date CB cert
- Experience in warehouse and distribution environment
- Methodical with the ability to prioritise workload
- Experience using in house systems, ideally SAP
- Good communication and listening skills
- Ability to motivate the team to meet KPIs
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Problem solving skills
- A good accuracy level is essential
- Good numeracy and literacy
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team as required
