We are seeking an experienced and proactive Small Works Engineer to deliver small works projects across TECS, fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV, access control, and life safety systems.

The Job you'll do:

  • Deliver small works ranging from minor installations and system upgrades to remedial works.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant British Standards, regulations, and company procedures.
  • Ensure health & safety standards are upheld across all small works activities.
  • System handover, commission and customer training.
  • Acceptance testing and quality assurance monitoring.
  • Provide customer or client-facing support where required.

About You:

  • Proven experience in fire and security systems, particularly small works.
  • Strong knowledge of TECS, fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems (multi-manufacturer).
  • Good understanding of BS5839, BS5266, EN50131, and other relevant standards.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • IT literacy (Microsoft Office, project management software).
  • Ability to produce accurate quotes and technical documentation.
  • Full UK driving licence.
