MTrec recruitment are proudly representing our state-of-the-art manufacturing client in their search for a talented quality technician.

The role will operate on a 2-shift pattern, days and backs from 06:00-14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00.

The Job you will do:

  • Support and maintain QA and nutritional standards in line with BRC Higher Level accreditation
  • Perform QC, QA and hygiene checks across production, including cleaning audits and documentation reviews
  • Collect product and environmental samples for micro, shelf life, swab and ATP testing
  • Carry out weight, calibration, and traceability checks Coordinate tasting sessions and participate in sensory evaluation panels
  • Assist with internal audits and complaint investigations
  • Liaise with external laboratories and pest control providers
  • Ensure all test records and corrective actions are documented and communicated appropriately

About you:

  • You will have a proven track record within a relevant quality role, ideally within the food/FMCG sector or another related field.
  • You will be flexible and adaptable, able to multi-task and prioritise essential tasks.
  • It is essential that you can commit to the working hours of the role.
  • You will be experienced with record keeping and be experienced in maintaining quality management documents.
  • A Team player and willing to work cross functionally with the relevant departments
