The Role
- Will be responsible for goods inwards inspection.
- You will ensure compliance to specification.
- Controls of non-conformance, retaining records and corrective and preventative actions.
- Manage final inspection of product.
- Will ensure quality of product in accordance with specification and standards.
- Maintaining calibration system.
- Assess for conformance to specification.
- Speak with customers and suppliers where necessary.
- Control of customer returns.
- Root cause through using 8D, cause and effect, etc.
- Maintenance of documentation.
The Person
- Experience in a similar role within quality.
- Ability to use quality measuring tools/equipment.
- Must be organised, accurate and self-motivated.
- Engineering or manufacturing experience essential.
- Analytical thinking combined with effective communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
