The Company Our client are specialists in their market sector; they are now looking to recruit a Document Controller. The Role You will be responsible for coordinating, packaging and issuing client submittals for engineering projects. Project Documentation, coordinate and compile project documentation from internal and external stakeholders into structured, submittal-compliant packages in line with contractual and specification requirements. Coordinate with suppliers and third parties to obtain required technical documentation, ensuring completeness, compliance and alignment with project deliverables. Document Submission, issue and manage project documentation within the Client Document Management System ensuring accurate metadata, traceability and adherence to agreed document control procedures. Administer document workflows within CDMS, including submission, revision control, review cycles, and approval tracking, ensuring timely progression through all stages. Provide support to document control activities, including the preparation and issuance of manufacturing and construction documentation packages where required. Quality Control and Efficiency, identify and escalate gaps, inconsistencies, or non-compliances within submittal packages to relevant stakeholders, driving resolution to maintain project schedule and quality standard. Being open to tasks that require additional training and actively working on broadening your knowledge. Responsible for collecting, monitoring, processing, and analysing data. Reporting the data and making recommendations where necessary Providing timely and accurate information. The Person Excellent computer skills, i.e., SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience using document management systems/portals. Ability to understand, interpret and communicate engineering drawings. Ability to create document submittal packages. Good understanding of project execution processes. Has strong analytical skills and an innovative approach to work. Highly organised and has a high level of accuracy. The Benefits You will be working for a well-established growing employer.
