Our outstanding client are specialists in their engineering sector, they are now looking to recruit a Project Manager on a permanent basis.
We are looking for a results-driven Project Manager to join our team at our office in the UK, Cramlington. In this role, you report to the Manager of Projects and work closely with multiple business units, as well as with customers. You play a central role in ensuring that projects are executed successfully from order intake through to completion. You are responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and in line with customer specifications.
As the key link between internal teams and the customer, you ensure alignment, maintain oversight, and drive execution while balancing technical, commercial, and operational priorities. As a Project Manager, you take full ownership of projects from order intake through to final delivery. You ensure that projects are executed on time, within budget, and in line with customer specifications, while maintaining a clear overview of scope, planning, and priorities. You coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment across all project phases. At the same time, you act as the main point of contact for the customer, managing expectations, resolving challenges, and building strong, professional relationships. You monitor progress, control costs, and ensure accurate project administration and reporting. With a strong focus on quality and compliance, you make sure that all deliverables meet contractual, technical, and industry standards. Through your structured approach and proactive mindset, you drive project success while balancing technical, commercial, and operational interests.
Several years of experience in a Project Manager role within a technical or industrial environment. Experience working in an international, project-driven organisation is a strong advantage. Desirable - Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field. Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and ERP systems (e.g. Epicor). Strong understanding of project management processes and technical environments. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure. Customer-oriented, decisive, and a strong team player.
