Mechanical Fitter in North East, Sunderland

MTrecs new career opportunity Our market-leading clients are now looking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter on a permanent basis. The Job youll do Repair & Install: Refurbish, assemble, and install heat exchangers according to engineering drawings and specifications. Inspect & Test: Conduct technical assessments, create sketches for quotations, and perform pressure testing to ensure industry compliance. Troubleshoot: Identify mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs or component replacements. Safety & Quality: Adhere strictly to HSE protocols, maintain accurate service records, and ensure equipment is kept in top condition. Collaborate: Work with engineers and project managers to execute projects efficiently and contribute to process improvements. About You Enthusiastic, conscientious, results orientated, self-motivated with a can do attitude. Developing strong working relationships with the team and customers Good communicator to all levels in and outside of the business Ability to work well under pressure in a demanding environment.
