The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out planned maintenance activities, supporting engineering and production teams, and driving continuous improvement to optimize plant reliability, reduce downtime, and enhance operational efficiency.

The Job you will do:
- Execute scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) tasks in line with the maintenance plan to ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Maintain and update the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure all maintenance records, work orders, and schedules are accurate and current.
- Develop and implement PM plans, coordinating with Plant Engineering and other departments on projects, upgrades, and process improvements.
- Support root cause analysis for equipment failures and identify actions to prevent recurrence.
- Implement targeted activities to minimize production downtime and enhance asset performance.
- Prepare clear and concise reports and collect relevant operational data for performance tracking.
- Manage spare parts inventory, including ordering and stock control, to ensure critical components are available when needed.
- Identify and eliminate waste within maintenance processes, seeking efficiency improvements in cost, time, and quality.
- Proactively raise and address issues that may affect production costs or product quality, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
About you:
- You will be a time served maintenance engineer and hold a minimum of a HNC level qualification (Electrical Preferred).
- You will have worked in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and can hit the ground running in a dynamic working environment.
- You must have knowledge of PLC fault finding.
- Ideally you will have an 18th edition, but this is not essential.
- You will have in depth understanding of maintenance safe systems of work such as LOTO etc.
