A leading Tyne and Wear company is looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join their team in a permanent role. Our client is committed to providing pioneering engineering services to their customers; this is an exciting opportunity and a well-rewarded role for the ideal candidate.

The Job you'll do:

  • MIG Welding
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Mainly Fabricating Structural Steel components in 6-15mm Mild Steel / Mig Welding
  • Medium Fabrication in 3-6mm Mild Steel / Mig Welding
  • Sheet metal - Aluminium & Stainless Steel

About You:

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Candidate must be able to work on their own or as part of a team if required

Essential requirements:

  • Time served Fabricator / Sheetmetal worker with Mig Welding
  • Working with medium and light materials: carbon steel, stainless steel & aluminium
