MTrecs new career opportunity Our client are leaders in their industry sector, they are looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis.

The role will be working a 3 shift system (6-2, 2-10, 10-6).

The Job youll do Diagnosis and repair of special purpose equipment and make sure it works correctly.

Formulation and execution of effective (value-added) planned maintenance (PM) to prevent disruption of activities.

Prioritisation, validation, and completion of maintenance requests.

Control of Inventory using engineering database.

Pilot key equipment using maintenance key performance indicators (KPIs) to formulate and execute improvement action plans.

Mentor and support to maintenance apprentices.

Additional Responsibilities Capture of comprehensive maintenance data for equipment history and lessons learnt purposes.

PLC fault finding using PLCs for remedial actions and process improvements.

Coordinate with maintenance engineering department for external modifications and future installations.

Support improvements identified through the Red Tag and 6S process.

Shift handovers must be completed.

Support a culture of change and improvement within the engineering department.

About You Must have served a recognised Apprenticeship and be educated to HNC or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering with a minimum of 3 year`s post Apprenticeship experience with strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.

Must be able to read Mechanical and Electrical drawings for fault-finding purposes Having experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics.

Basic fabrication skills are advantageous.

The use of testing equipment.

Knowledge PLCs ladder logic and structured text.

Good IT skills using Microsoft packages Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience of the following is essential: - PLC, Siemens S7 Advantageous.

Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic maintenance and fault-finding skills.

Very strong with electrical fault-finding using HMI fault codes.

Root cause analysis. 18th Edition wiring regulations.

Be flexible to work 3 shifts including nights, as well as overtime when required.
