The Company: Our client is a specialist engineering company. Due to growth, they are now looking to recruit a Mechanical Workshop Technician.

The Role: Will be working permanent day shift assembling and building their specialist products. Responsibilities include:

  • Interpret engineering assembly drawings, check parts before commencement of assembly.
  • Assemble and fit parts to form sub-assemblies.
  • Installation and test of controls.
  • Build assemblies to the stated assembly time and quality level.

The Person: Time Served Mechanical Fitter or have relevant experience. Requirements include:

  • Experience of building special purpose machines.
  • Experience in assembly.
  • Ability to read assembly/technical documentation such as drawings and work instructions.
  • Adhere to manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
