Mechanical Fitter

The Company

Our client is a leading Engineering company. Due to growth, they are now looking for a Mechanical Fitter.

The Role

1. General mechanical fitting.
2. Interpret engineering assembly drawings, check parts before commencement of assembly.
3. Assemble and fit parts to form sub-assemblies, working at benches or directly on a machine structure.
4. To build assemblies to the stated assembly time and quality level.

The Person

1. Time Served Mechanical Fitter.
2. Experience in assembly.
3. Experience of installations.
4. Ability to read assembly/technical documentation such as drawings and work instructions.
5. Adhere to manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP\’s).
