MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing client in their 2026 recruitment initiative. We are supporting their recruitment by recruiting a permanent Manufacturing Technician, to join their team. A successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with small engineering projects. If you are an experienced manufacturing operative, with a background in mechanical, production or chemical manufacturing and looking for your next career move, apply now for an immediate response!
The role will be working a permanent day shift- Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 16:00 and 07:00 to 12:00 Fridays
The job youll do:
- Manage and action all activities required of the on-site service.
- Apply and change lubricants and fluids to agreed planned maintenance schedules
- Condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant equipment, and reporting using our company in-house system.
- Manage waste streams to safe disposal off-site
- Customer liaison and assisting in meetings
- Follow strictly practices and procedures laid down including 5s and Health & Safety.
About you:
- You will have a proven background within the manufacturing or engineering sector.
- A strong communicator, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service
- You may be from a machine operating background, where you have set up, stripped, cleaned and reassembled equipment.
- You will be a team player and take a collaborative approach to project work.
- You will be IT literate and confident in the use of various systems.
- Health and Safety conscious, with a strong focus on maintaining the highest standards within the workplace.
