Our client are specialists in their market sector, they are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Supervisor on a permanent basis.
The job you'll do:
- We have a requirement for a Manufacturing Supervisor, with a minimum of five years experience in the heavy manufacturing industry.
- Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day manufacture of bespoke equipment.
- Will be responsible for the recording of working hours against production jobs.
- Ensure all H&S and ISO processes are adhered to.
- Organising and issuing of jobs to employees whilst assessing training and ability needs.
- Relevant experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor along with the ability to assist in production of working within a heavy plant environment.
About You:
- Good man management skills.
- Computer skills required to enter data onto Sage.
- Beneficial to have lean manufacturing experience.
- Experience using power tools and pneumatic tools.
- Experienced using overhead cranes.
- Strong understanding of various welding procedures and health and safety awareness paramount.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Fork lift licence advantageous but not necessary.
