Our client are specialists in their market sector, they are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Supervisor on a permanent basis.

The job you'll do:

  • We have a requirement for a Manufacturing Supervisor, with a minimum of five years experience in the heavy manufacturing industry.
  • Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day manufacture of bespoke equipment.
  • Will be responsible for the recording of working hours against production jobs.
  • Ensure all H&S and ISO processes are adhered to.
  • Organising and issuing of jobs to employees whilst assessing training and ability needs.
  • Relevant experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor along with the ability to assist in production of working within a heavy plant environment.

About You:

  • Good man management skills.
  • Computer skills required to enter data onto Sage.
  • Beneficial to have lean manufacturing experience.
  • Experience using power tools and pneumatic tools.
  • Experienced using overhead cranes.
  • Strong understanding of various welding procedures and health and safety awareness paramount.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Fork lift licence advantageous but not necessary.
