The successful applicant will be responsible for all elements of planning for a busy domestic fleet, and this is an ideal role for those who thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The Job you will do:
- Plan and coordinate daily transport schedules to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
- Raise purchase and sales orders using internal systems and business software.
- Coordinate shipping and haulage arrangements with freight forwarding partners.
- Prepare and complete transport and shipping documentation accurately and within required timescales.
- Contribute positively to the wider logistics team and support business objectives as required.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years' experience in a Transport Planner or similar logistics role.
- Good knowledge of HGV transport regulations and compliance.
- Experience with transport management systems is essential.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and business systems.
