The Job You’ll Do:
- Cover production technical operations
- Learn the technical aspects of the companies products
- Support customers via the technical phone line and site visits
- Attend and report machine breakdowns and report any and all actions carried out, as well as any further actions required
- Diagnosing and repairing PCBs down to component level
- Carrying out mechanical maintenance fault finding and repair on electronic manufacturing machinery
About You:
- Qualified to ONC/HNC level or above in a relevant discipline (Electronics/Electrical Engineering or similar)
- Mechanical fault-finding maintenance experience
- Previous experience as a qualified technician, with a history of PPM and breakdown response on Electronic Manufacturing equipment
- SMT and electronics manufacturing machine experience
- You must have the ability to diagnose and repair PCBs down to component level using a schematic drawing and use diagnostic equipment
- Effective communication skills at all levels
- Have the ability to work within a team environment or individually
- A focus on continuous improvement and LEAN activities
