MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing client, based in the Kilmarnock area with their plans for growth and internal expansion. We are supporting their recruitment by recruiting a permanent technician to join their team. A successful candidate will be responsible for performing essential works on production machinery to ensure the smooth running of the site day to day. The role will be working a permanent day shift - 08:00-16:30 Monday to Friday.

The Job You’ll Do:

  • Manage and action all activities required of the onsite service
  • Working to agreed planned maintenance schedules to perform essential work on the production machinery
  • Condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant equipment, and reporting using our company in-house system
  • Manage waste streams to safe disposal off-site
  • Customer liaison and assisting in meetings
  • Follow strictly practices and procedures laid down including 5s and Health & Safety

About You:

  • Experienced of working in a mechanical, chemical or production environment
  • Possesses a willingness to be adaptable and flexible
  • The ability to self-motivate and work with minimal supervision
  • Previous experience within a similar position
  • This is a hands-on position and demands a willingness to be adaptable and flexible with the ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision
  • Must be PC literate
  • Have excellent communication skills
