The Job You’ll Do:
- Travel throughout your territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit and perform repair and calibration needs.
- Initiate contact with prospective customers to grow new business.
- Combining technical experience with company training, address customer needs and issues including troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, and manual tools, pumps, and equipment.
- Adhere to company processes, procedures, safety standards and schedules with respect to daily activities including scheduled repairs and calibrations, cold calling to prospective customers.
- Production and processing of all paperwork including function tests, PAT tests and any additional supporting documents.
- Contacting customers & territory managers where required to discuss service works.
- Keeping a log of stock control and stock reorder levels.
- Quality control, to create general checks of hire fleet, customer repairs and shipment.
- General administration where required, for example, completion of NCR report and follow up.
- Actively participating in workbench meetings whilst generating positive ideas to improve working practice.
- Implement and disseminate all appropriate health and safety legislation and guidance such as general housekeeping, use of PPE, adhering to training, ensuring all items adhere to company standards, calibration equipment, weekly checks, storage suitability, monthly checks of technician tools, quality inspections.

- Mechanical qualifications are an advantage, though not essential.
