A leading Tyne and Wear company is looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join their team in a permanent role. Our client is committed to providing pioneering engineering services to their customers; this is an exciting opportunity and a well-rewarded role for the ideal candidate.
The Job you'll do:
- MIG Welding.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Mainly fabricating structural steel components in 6-15mm mild steel / MIG welding.
- Medium fabrication in 3-6mm mild steel / MIG welding.
- Sheet metal - aluminium & stainless steel.
About You:
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Candidate must be able to work on their own or as part of a team if required.
Essential requirements:
- Time served fabricator / sheet metal worker with MIG welding experience.
- Working with medium and light materials: carbon steel, stainless steel & aluminium.
