The Company
Our client is a market leader in their sector. They are now looking for a motivated Electrical Maintenance Technician to work a 2 shift role.
The Role
- Provide engineering/ maintenance support to the division by performing plant preventative maintenance and engineering support including out of hours.
- Also has responsibility for electrical/ mechanical maintenance, repair and fault finding of plant and equipment.
- Responsible for enacting the maintenance, implementation and improvement of plant preventative maintenance.
- Electrical/ mechanical fault finding, isolation and repair of equipment.
- Providing input into the electrical maintenance and operation of plant equipment.
- Working on plant improvement initiatives.
- Working with suitable external engineering services as and when required to ensure safe and effective operation of plant equipment.
- Preserve employee safety, welfare and involvement.
The Person
- Formal Electronic/Electrical Engineering qualification with practical experience working as a plant electrician.
- 18th Edition Regulations.
- Excellent internal and external communications skills.
- Demonstrable experience of working as a plant electrician.
- Working knowledge of PLC programming and able to read electrical/ technical drawings.
- Practical knowledge of electrical safety requirements.
- Computer literate.
