MTrec's new career opportunity. Our client are specialists in their engineering market sector, they are looking to recruit an experienced Toolroom Technician.
The Job you'll do:
- Part of the toolroom department to fulfil its role as a support function to the works.
- Internal project and sub-contract work activities.
- Responsible for progression tooling concept, build, service and repair.
- Jig & fixture design and manufacture.
About You:
Essential experience:- Hands on experience within a toolroom environment.
- General milling, turning and grinding.
- Progression tooling concept, build, service and repair.
- H&S legislation.
- Quality - ISO 9001.
- Time served toolmaker with recognised engineering qualification.
- Good computer literacy.
- Good organisational skills.
- CNC milling and turning.
- EDM.
- Master CAM.
- Inventor / Fusion.
- Software programming via CAD & CAM packages.
