The Company
Our client is a well-established growing FMCG company. Due to this growth, they are looking to recruit a Maintenance Team Leader.
The Role
You will lead a small team of Maintenance Technicians on shift, delegating and reporting work. You will work on projects, improvements, and machine moves. The role will be hands-on, also working on both reactive and planned maintenance on a range of machinery associated with production. Along with day-to-day maintenance issues, you will also be heavily involved in the installation of new machinery and refurbishment of old machines. The Lead will undertake programming activities and prepare technical reports to analyse breakdown causes, recommend practical countermeasures, and drive forward achievable solutions.
The Person
You will be time served, multi-skilled, and electrical in bias or close to 50:50. Basic PLC experience is required, and the 18th edition would be beneficial. Previous supervisory experience is essential, along with previous manufacturing or engineering sector experience. You must be happy to work a continental shift system.
