This role will play a crucial part in driving performance across logistics and supply chain functions within a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Job you will do: Act as the main point of contact for customer service queries on collection, delivery and order fulfilment.
Monitor and report 3rd party logistics providers performance collection and delivery on time in full reporting daily and weekly.
Ensure the warehouse has visibility of loading plans at agreed deadlines.
Analysis of customers Key Performance Indicators, with root causes of issues identified and tracked.
Liaise with customers to assign haulage, arrange collections and confirm delivery slots, as required.
Provide transport planning cover across a range of customers from multiple collection points, including pallet and tray collections.
Provide full cover for external warehouse specialist, including planning and administration.
Assist with other transport and administrative functions in the departments as and when required, including POD collection, liaising with warehouse management colleagues, dealing with delivery issues and export documents.
About you: Excellent IT literacy and a high level of proficiency with CPMS/WMS systems and Microsoft Word/Excel is essential.
Recent relevant experience is essential, ideally a minimum of 3 years recent experience in a Transport Planning role or similar within fast-moving manufacturing environments.
IT literacy and proficiency with SAP and WMS systems is preferred.
Ability to work unsupervised.
