Due to growth, they are looking to recruit a Production Manager.
The Role You will be responsible foroverseeing and managing the production process ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, on time and within budget.
Duties to include planning production schedules, managing resources (personnel, materials, equipment) and maintaining quality standards.
You will also work to improve processes, reduce costs and ensure safety.
Is day shift managing a team of 45.
You will lead your team and area to successfully deliver your KPI's and drive business performance.
Coach, develop and lead staff and establish a continuous improvement culture.
Take full responsibility for the day to day running of a department on shift, ensuring the Health and Safety of all colleagues whilst maintaining and making improvements in all areas.
Monitor and communicate the site plan, performance KPI's and targets ensuring that all colleagues are striving to achieve the same goal.
The Person Will ideally be degree qualified in a related field.
Previous engineering or manufacturing experience preferred.
You will have good leadership/team management experience.
Will have good planning skills.
You will be IT literate with good analytical skills.
Will have the ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
