The Job you will do:
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and respond to equipment breakdowns across plant, facilities, and utilities.
- Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and process equipment.
- Calibrate and test plant equipment, alarms, and instrumentation in line with CMMS schedules, manufacturer recommendations, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and close out work orders using the CMMS.
- Monitor plant performance using systems such as BMS and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Manage spare parts inventory to support operational continuity.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance contractors, ensuring work is completed safely and to the required standard.
- Administer permit-to-work systems, including LOTO, hot work, and general maintenance permits.
- Plan and coordinate equipment shutdowns in conjunction with management and production teams.
- Perform general facility maintenance, housekeeping, and upkeep of plant services, including wastewater treatment systems where applicable.
- Participate in on-call and out-of-hours support as required for critical plant issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing plant reliability, safety, and operational performance.
About you:
- You will be a time-served maintenance technician with proven experience within manufacturing/engineering.
- Ideally, you will be multiskilled in bias and capable of working on a range of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to interact with suppliers, internal customers and external contractors.
