The Role

  • You will be involved with the internal site audits.
  • Food Safety and Quality Management System.
  • Finished Product Specifications and related records.
  • Production record implementation.
  • Maintain and archive records.
  • Control and calibration of monitoring and measuring equipment.
  • Scheduled traceability and mass balance exercises.
  • Present at 2nd and 3rd party audits.
  • Product packaging analysis schedule based on risk assessment.
  • Controlled release of product and packaging and their traceability.
  • Supplier approval and performance monitoring.
  • Storage sample management.
  • Shelf-life monitoring.

The Person

  • You will ideally hold a Food safety qualification-level 3 or 4.
  • Must have previous QA experience within the food sector.
  • An awareness and understanding of HACCP and audit exposure will be a definite advantage.
  • Flexibility and a positive can-do attitude is essential as the business is fast-paced and ever-changing.
  • The role demands a people person with effective communication skills and IT literacy.
