Our client are specialists in their industry sector, looking to recruit an ERP Administrator on a permanent basis.
The Job you'll do:
- Reporting to the Office Manager, this is an administrative role based in the Administration Department but supporting various departments, including production and engineering.
- The main tasks of the job will be to create BOMs and sales orders on the company's ERP system and to help manage the administration side of engineering projects, from the beginning to the end of the process.
- This will involve ensuring the correct BOM is available in a timely manner to enable other departments to provide customer quotations, purchase supplies, and begin manufacture.
- The company has just installed a new ERP system (EFACS) and the candidate will be expected to help with the full implementation of this system and then support production and admin staff in running it.
- It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have worked in a manufacturing company, preferably engineering, with an understanding of ERP systems, bills of materials, planning systems, and all associated engineering processes.
- You will be expected to suggest improvements and streamline tasks where appropriate.
- Importing Bill of Materials (BOM) from Excel spreadsheet to ERP system, accurately and on time.
- Preparing reports for customers and internal departments.
- Arranging transport with customers and suppliers.
- Raising delivery notes and sales invoices.
- Working closely with other departments, e.g. Purchasing, Estimating, Production.
- Other general admin when required, including recruitment.
About You:
- Experience of ERP systems.
- Engineering/Technical/Manufacturing background.
- Flexible, able to implement change and suggest areas of improvement.
- Fully conversant with MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Honest, reliable and punctual.
