The Job You’ll Do:
- Reporting to the Production Manager
- Responsible for a team of between 8-12 staff
- Overseeing day-to-day manufacturing and workshop operations, ensuring production runs smoothly
- Responsible for the recording of working hours against production jobs
- Ensuring all H&S and ISO processes are adhered to
- Allocating jobs to employees
- Regularly assessing training and ability needs
About You:
- 5+ years experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing/engineering environment
- Willingness to be hands-on on the shop floor if needed
- Lean manufacturing experience is beneficial
- Valid FLT license is desirable but not essential
- Experience welding or using hand tools (power/pneumatic) is desirable
- Health and safety awareness is essential
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- IT Literacy
