The Job You'll Do;
Carry out daily IT checks and routine maintenance, including backup verification, log reviews, and visual inspections of server rooms.
Investigate, diagnose, and resolve software and hardware issues, identifying appropriate solutions to minimise disruption.
Manage, resolve, and escalate IT incidents and change requests through the IT Service Desk system.
Install, configure, and deploy new IT hardware and software, ensuring compliance with licensing requirements.
Provide IT support for new starters and leavers, including the setup and relocation of PCs, telephones, and workstations.
Ensure all PCs, laptops, and servers are patched within the required compliance timeframes.
Deliver IT projects as assigned by management and provide technical support to other departments where required.
Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with applicable legislation, regulations, and industry requirements.
Support the organisation in maintaining relevant certifications and compliance standards, including ISO 27001.
Undertake out-of-hours IT support when required to assist with project delivery and business continuity.
