The Company:
We are currently seeking a Material Handler / Team Leader to play a key role in our production team. This hands-on role is critical to meeting our production plans and efficiency targets while upholding the highest standards in food safety, hygiene, and team performance.

The Role:
- Ensure Health & Safety is embedded in all aspects of the role, following safe systems of work and enforcing PPE use.
- Lead and influence a team to meet production requirements and drive operational efficiency.
- Manage and support material handling operations including Batch Preparation (Full Bag / Part Bag / WIP) and Production (Mixing / Packing).
- Understand and communicate weekly plans and staffing allocations.
- Monitor hourly progress, providing updates to your line manager.
- Uphold quality and hygiene standards to meet internal specs and HACCP requirements.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
- Escalate issues outside your remit to the Production Supervisor/Shift Manager.
- Support technical teams by completing required process monitoring and quality documentation.
- Promote a quality-first mindset across the team through Toolbox talks and daily briefings.
- Identify training gaps and ensure accurate daily performance data collection.
- Maintain up-to-date paperwork and ensure company SOPs and QA standards are followed.
The Person:
- Experience in food manufacturing environments
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Knowledge of hygiene and technical standards in food production
- Understanding of HACCP principles
- Computer literacy
- FLT (Forklift Truck) trained

- 15:00pm to 23:00pm (Permanent Back Shift)
- 23:00pm to 07:00am (Permanent Night Shift)

- 07:00am to 15:00pm / 15:00pm to 23:00pm / 23:00pm to 07:00am (Rotating Three Shift)
The Pay:
- Permanent Day Shift – £14.35 Per Hour
- Permanent Back Shift – £15.85 Per Hour
- Permanent Night Shift – £17.55 Per Hour
- Rotating Two Shift – £15.10 Per Hour
Rotating Three Shift – £15.79 Per Hour
