The Company
Our client is a leading manufacturer of electromechanical products used in various sectors. To help maintain their equipment, they now require a Field Service Engineer.
The Role
- Ensure service assistance and operational requirements as directed for customer satisfaction and achievement of department goals.
- Perform scheduled maintenance visits and corrective repairs as directed on safety devices.
- Perform warranty repairs as directed on safety devices.
- Perform installation and commissioning activities.
- Perform technical corrective actions.
- Complete required company documentation.
- Provide feedback on the quality situation and issues from the field to the Service Management.
The role will be home based covering Midlands to Lancashire.
The Person
- Relevant experience as a service engineer.
- HNC or equivalent in electronic/electrical engineering or related subject is preferred.
- Proven experience over a wide range of equipment and systems, ideally with experience of safety-related devices.
- Able to deliver a high level of customer care and develop long-standing customer relationships.
- Ability to organise and prioritise to meet a wide range of diverse and demanding activities.
- Must hold a driving licence.
