Our client are market leaders in their industry sector, they are looking to recruit a Senior Quality Engineer on a permanent basis.
This Senior Quality Engineer role requires a self-motivated, proactive professional with exceptional communication and leadership capabilities. The position involves maintaining quality systems, standards, and excellent customer PPM performance across all interior trim moulding and assembly operations.
In this Senior Quality Engineer capacity, you will work closely with major suppliers, major automotive customers, and internal project teams. You will be instrumental in supporting all Interiors Quality Assurance activities across the manufacturing facility.
Your responsibilities will encompass QRQC activity management, customer liaison, quality audits, calibration oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives, including kaizen and PHA activities. You will stand in for the Quality Assurance Manager when required and ensure APQP/TS16949 documentation and standards are maintained and adhered to across all operations.
About You
- Minimum HNC level qualification in an appropriate discipline or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in high-volume manufacturing, ideally CPM or injection moulding.
- Process auditing experience with IATF/ISO auditor qualification (preferred).
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and excellent teamwork abilities.
