If you have experience as a hands-on Process Engineer or similar within Electronics Manufacturing, specifically SMT assembly, apply now for an immediate response Own the SMT process: solder paste printing & inspection (SPI), pick-and-place, reflow soldering, and associated inspection across one or more production lines. Develop, validate, and optimise reflow profiles for a range of solder pastes and board thermal masses. Provide day-to-day technical support to production, resolving line-down issues quickly to minimise disruption. Support equipment evaluation, installation, and commissioning for capacity or capability upgrades. Experience in an SMT / PCB manufacturing environment. Proven experience developing and optimising reflow profiles and diagnosing soldering defects. Familiarity with SPI and AOI systems and the interpretation of their data. Working knowledge of IPC standards, particularly IPC-A-610 (acceptability) and J-STD-001 (soldering requirements). Confident using data to drive decisions comfortable with yield analysis, SPC, and MS Excel. A clear communicator able to work across production, quality, design, and customers.
