MTrec are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver for a well-established manufacturing firm based in the Spennymoor area.
The Job You’ll Do:
- Working in a fast-paced stores environment.
- Using FLT to relocate goods around the shop floor.
- Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
- Loading and moving waste from the shop floor.
- Manually picking items from order sheets and online orders.
- Manually transporting and moving products within the dispatch area.
- Wrapping completed products into packaging ready for dispatch.
- Completing visual quality inspection and completing quality assurance paperwork.
- Booking goods in and out using in-house computer systems.
- Using computer systems to update stock systems.
- Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times.
- General housekeeping duties and following specific standard operations while adhering to social distancing requirements.
About You:
- Hold an in-date CB cert.
- Experience in warehouse and distribution environment.
- Methodical with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Experience using in-house systems, ideally SAP.
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Ability to motivate the team to meet KPIs.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Problem-solving skills.
- A good accuracy level is essential.
